My research question:
How effective has the United States Legislative Branch been
in addressing human sex trafficking?
I chose this topic because I know that human trafficking and
sex trafficking are big problems around the world and I want to see what laws
are in place in the US to combat this phenomena and analyze their
effectiveness.
The search terms that I will use in Academic Search Premier
are, "Sex Trafficking" AND laws. One of the articles I found is
listed below:
George, S. (2012). THE STRONG ARM OF THE LAW IS WEAK: HOW
THE TRAFFICKING VICTIMS PROTECTION ACT FAILS TO ASSIST EFFECTIVELY VICTIMS OF
THE SEX TRADE. Creighton Law Review, 45(3), 563-580.
Nice job Regena but remember to try the word 'legislation' also
